Our story

Warmwood Clay Studio was founded by ceramic artist and educator Maya Hart after a decade of teaching in art schools and community centers. She envisioned a place where skill and softness coexist—where craft is rigorous but never rushed.

The name Warmwood reflects our ethos: warmth in teaching, wood as the grounding element that has supported clay work for centuries. In our pastel space, students find focus, safety, and the courage to try again.
